Oxfordshire County Council are asking for views on the proposal to introduce a 20mph speed limit within Cholsey, replacing the majority of the existing 30mph speed limits in in the process. Additionally, new lower speed limits are proposed on Wallingford Road between Cholsey and Wallingford, with the existing 30mph speed limit being extended northwards, and a new 40mph speed limit introduced in place of the existing 60mph National speed to its roundabout junction with the A4130 Bosley Way. Speed limits on the A329 Reading Road will remain unaffected by these proposals, with Officers having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account.
