Community survey: Reading Road (A329) Pedestrian crossing
Cholsey Parish Council is undertaking informal consultation about a proposed plan to construct a controlled pedestrian crossing, slightly North of the A329/Ferry Lane/Papist Way junction. The results of this survey will determine next steps, including formal consultation by Oxfordshire County Council (OCC). Funds for the crossing have been allocated by OCC.

This informal survey will be open from 3rd November until 24th November 2025
A plan of the proposed crossing provided by Oxfordshire County Council can be found below. Note, the existing refuge island crossing will remain in place near the Ilges Lane Byway.
