Committees

Currently the Cholsey Parish Council has three Committees:

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee provides oversight on the Cholsey Parish Council’s financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure. It approves the annual Financial Report.

The Finance Committee meets quarterly and is comprised of the following:

  • David Bamford (Councillor, Committee Chair)
  • Judy Collins (Councillor)
  • Paul Jenkins (Councillor)
  • Mark Smith (Councillor)
  • Officers attending: Claire Bird (Parish Clerk); Sophie Smith (Responsible Finance Officer and Assistant Clerk)
Staffing Committee

The Staffing Committee is responsible for the recruitment and employment of Cholsey Parish Council’s team of staff.

Transport Committee

The Transport Committee works to move transport-related projects forward.

The Transport Committee meets three times a year and is comprised of the following:

  • Judy Collins (Councillor, Committee Chair)
  • Jenny Finch (Councillor)
  • Steffi Schafer (Councillor)
  • Non-councillor members: Trevor Bedeman, Robert Ford, Reto Schmucki
  • Officers attending: Claire Bird (Parish Clerk); Vicky Beardall Richards (Environment Coordinator)
