Allotments – Cholsey Parish Council
Cholsey Parish Council is responsible for three allotment sites in the village:
Cholsey Meadows Allotment site, Station Road Allotment Site and Ilges Lane Allotment Site.
Annual rent is due 1st April each year and are as follows for the year 2023/2024:

Applying for an allotment plot
If you are interested in applying for an allotment plot within the village, you must be a resident of Cholsey. Please email the Estate Manager estatemanager@cholseyparishcouncil.gov.uk with the following information:

Preferred email address:
Allotment Site: Cholsey Meadows/Station Road/Ilges Lane
Preferred size of plot (if available): Large/Medium/Small
The Estate Manager will then contact you to either offer you a plot or add you to a waiting list for a plot.
As a new tenant you will be expected to sign a Tenancy Agreement

The National allotment Society (NSALG)
Cholsey Parish Council pays for membership of the NSALG.
The NSALG are the leading national organisation upholding the interests and rights of the allotment community across the UK; working with government at national and local levels, other organisations and landlords to promote and preserve allotments for all. They offer support, guidance and advice to all their members and all those with an interest in allotment gardening.
Their website www.nsalg.org.uk is very informative including lots of advice on growing, wide ranging information about allotments, plus news, events and promotions.
